Volunteers can help tidy up the city during the East Peoria Clean Sweep event on May 3. This project is a great way for members of the community to take part in making sure our city looks great! This event is also a way for high school students to get the service hours they may need for their college applications, or service clubs to have a rewarding experience making a difference. 

Clean Sweep is a cleanup effort along high-traffic areas of the city. Individuals and organizations can participate. Volunteers will gather at the Festival Building, 2200 E Washington Street, at 8am for doughnuts and beverages. The Clean Sweep will occur from 8:30am until noon. The city will supply gloves, reflective safety vests, and trash bags. 

Youth groups must be supervised by adults. Door prizes will be drawn for all who participate in the Clean Sweep.
